Surf Lifesaving Awards

No matter what age they may be, any club member involved in activities that relate to beach safety, water based rescue or assistance to supervisory RNLI lifeguards, must hold valid and recognised surf lifesaving qualifications.

For members of SLSA Wales who do not hold valid surf lifesaving qualifications, are over the age of thirty but wish to compete in Welsh surf lifesaving competitions, they may opt to sit the Masters Competition Award instead:

To be employed as a lifeguard at Whitesands Beach, you must apply to the RNLI by letter, email or through their online application process.
